About the Role
We are looking for an Xactimate Estimator with 1+ year of experience to prepare accurate construction estimates for US-based projects.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with Xactimate, good knowledge of construction estimation, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction estimates using Xactimate.
- Review drawings, photos, specifications, and scope of work.
- Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labor.
- Select appropriate Xactimate line items and pricing.
- Prepare estimates for residential and commercial projects.
- Identify missing information, scope gaps, or discrepancies.
- Review and update estimates based on project changes.
- Maintain accurate estimation records.
- Coordinate with internal teams for project-related clarifications.
- Complete estimates within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in construction estimation.
- Hands-on experience with Xactimate is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of construction materials, labor, and building components.
- Ability to read construction drawings and project documents.
- Experience with quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
- US construction or insurance restoration experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
